FACILITY DIRECTOR
- Dependable
- Manages the facility from all aspects
- Hires and develops quality staff
- Builds enrollment to operate at capacity
- Establishes positive and ongoing communication with parents
- Expresses Alphabet Soup's curriculum and philosophy
- Keeps office records organized and oversees all operational functions of the facility
- Assist with other duties as needed which may include food service, van chauffeuring, answering the phone, responding to parent questioning and attending special events
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Early Childhood with at least three years supervisory experience over at least six employees.
- All licenses, certifications, clock hours, and specialized training must be properly documented on a yearly basis.
- At least three years experience in recordkeeping and organization.
- Meet State requirements to supervise a group of children alone. Police Check, Child Abuse and Neglect Screening and Family Care Registry
- Great communication skills
- A natural love for children and patience to share in their sense of wonder.
PRESCHOOL TEACHERS
- Dependable
- Consistently meeting classroom demands and supporting the Director in meeting facility responsibilities
- Monitor, and supervise the children
- Teach the appropriate age group with the chosen curriculum
- Maintain positive and constructive interaction with children and parents
- Ensure that the environment is safe and clean at all times
- Assist with other duties as needed which may include food service, van chauffeuring, answering the phone, responding to parent questioning and attending special events
- Attend teacher in-service meetings as required by the facility
Qualifications:
- The minimum required for this position is a high school diploma or G.E.D., a C.D.A., and six months experience with a licensed childcare provider
- Meet State requirements to supervise a group of children alone. Police Check, Child Abuse and Neglect Screening and Family Care Registry
- Meet all physical requirements of the State
- Meet at least the minimum yearly educational requirements by the State, sometimes more
- Great communication skills
- A natural love for children and patience to share in their sense of wonder.
- Must be a Nonsmoker
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER
- Dependable
- Consistently meeting classroom demands and supporting the Principal in meeting school responsibilities
- Teach the grade level with the chosen curriculum
- Maintain positive and constructive interaction with children and parents
- Ensure that the environment is safe and clean at all times
- Assist with other duties as needed which may include food service, van chauffeuring, answering the phone, responding to parent questioning and attending special events
- Keeping track of attendance and grades required to issue report cards and detentions
- Attend teacher in-service meetings as required by the facility
Qualifications:
- The minimum required for this position is a Bachelor's Degree in Education, and a minimum of experience of student teaching with a reputable school
- Meet State requirements to supervise a group of children alone. Police Check, Child Abuse and Neglect Screening and Family Care Registry
- Meet all physical requirements of the State
- Great communication skills
- A natural love for children and patience to share in their sense of wonder.
- Must be a Nonsmoker
TEACHER'S ASSISTANTS
- Dependable
- Consistently meeting classroom demands and supporting the Principal in meeting school responsibilities

- Maintain positive and constructive interaction with children and parents
- Ensure that the environment is safe and clean at all times

- Attend teacher in-service meetings as required by the facility
Qualifications:
